Well kids,

I realise I haven't posted anything for an approximation of many months, but fear not - I am alive, and I have purchased a new art book in a vain attempt to get some art actually happening. I do have a nifty picture of a new character that I spawned purely because I needed a dark-jedi sounding name to put on something, so I'll have to kick the kids out of the house for a while in order to use photoshop in peace...

I also had stumbled across a sketching meme which I thought I would like to have a bash at - ie the "100 sketch" meme. If nothing else, it will be a nice way of achieving an indepth character study for some of my characters.

My characters are so very neglected...

Hey wow, I found my watercolour palettes - SO I'm thinking it's about time I caught up on some themed pictures. Last year I managed to get away with revamping the previous Christmas pic, but not so this year. Well, I'll see what I can come up with.

The gallery I managed to swipe that is my name - ~Rebecca-Brown - I have cleared out its very meagre contents, and have decided to use it as my Doll gallery. Now I just have to think of a good label for my dolls

Hang on a tic - didn't they just put up a new agreement?
Now I go to submit something and there is another agreement to agree to.

And the thing that worries me is I can't spot what the ammendment in the agreement is O~o It looks exactly the same as the last one as far as I can tell, so no doubt I've missed something vital.

Like a special clause buried beneath all the jargon saying, We own your soul, biatch.

Okaaaay...

I've been talking to a few people about this whole art contract shamozzle thing.

I still am not a fan of the contract, but leaving DA does make me lose a lot of things - exposure, networking opportunities, friends and whatnot.

Chael's been suggesting we could upload our art, smaller sized, and with visable watermarks. I'm thinking yeah this could work.

I'll just have to make sure I'm not uploading everything, willynilly.

I'll put my tute back up at least.
